HELEN MARIE WITTY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    In 2015, we will be hosting a gala event to raise money for our Helen Marie Witty scholarship. The scholarship not only benefits Miami Palmetto students, but has grown to include theatre students all across the Miami area who lead by example and steer away from destructive decisions in all aspects of their lives. 25% of the money we raise will be appropriated for a permanent memorial to Helen in upcoming renovation of the Miami Palmetto Senior High School Auditorium.

   We hope to have about 100-150 people in attendance and raise $20,000 to keep the scholarship running for the next four years. The event will take place on February 20, 2015 from 7-11 pm at the Garden House in Fairchild Tropical Gardens. During the event, we will hold a silent auction and entertain with live cabaret-style student performances from the most talented students in the Miami-area, as well as honor past recipients of the Helen Marie Witty scholarship.
